• those filing the fees lawsuits against the auto dealers and fighting the corruption between dealers and the government.

• REMC for such a quick response to our power outage in the early hours of the morning, from the Barkes family.

• all the men at Petersville United Methodist Church for the wonderful song “Mansions over the Hilltop,” from Betty.

Onions to …

• people who don’t take down the yard sale and campaign signs days and weeks later.

• people who don’t understand that you can do heroin or cocaine just one time and be addicted.

• neighbors who mow, putting all the grass in the lane, because it looks sloppy.

• those who put in Onions about President Trump.

• the organization that will not allow volunteers to participate in the walking challenge, because volunteers like to be healthy and have fun, too.

• the softball coach who has an excuse for every loss.

• the flower shop that was rude on Saturday and slammed the phone down.

• the city that doesn’t seem to offer any downtown recreation without including booze.

• school authorities who will not deal with the problem of cellphones and earbuds in public schools that divert students’ attention from their responsibilities.

• the provider notifying its customers that they are now required to use a wireless smart electric meter whether they want it or not, which incurs more cost.

• the government for new tariffs that put a $200 billion tax on working class and middle class Americans.

• my inconsiderate kids and their families for being rude to their mother on Mother’s day.
