INDOT open house set for Columbus

The Indiana Department of Transportation will have an open house in Columbus tonight to present its 2020-2024 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, its Long-Range Transportation Plan and the Public Involvement Plan.

Transportation infrastructure improvements being discussed include bridge and pavement renovations as well as safety, congestion, mobility and emergency response in southeast Indiana.

The session will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Columbus East High School, 230 S. Marr Road.

Another open house will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lawrenceburg High School, 100 Tiger Blvd., Lawrenceburg.
