Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. said one of its school buses caught fire early Friday morning while on its route near Ogilville.
Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies said the fire was reported at 6:23 a.m. at County Roads 550W and 550S.
The bus driver helped two students evacuate, and there were no injuries, the school corporation said.

Southwest Volunteer Fire Department firefighters quickly put out the fire. Sheriff deputies transported the two students to school.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, deputies said.
Assisting at the scene were Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Deputy Dylan Prather, Sgt. Greg Duke and the Indiana State Police.
