Seniors leave with fond memories

Wednesday was the Class of 2019’s last day of high school, and there was no shortage of hugs and tears as the seniors said goodbye to their home away from home from the last four years.

Seniors enjoyed the memories and quality time with friends and faculty at the Senior Breakfast, and then went on to practice their walk-through for graduation. Some fellow seniors offered some parting words about what they will miss most about their time at Jennings County High School.

Kayla Truesdell said, “The support from the teachers and the coaches who have always pushed me to do my best.”

“I will miss the music department the most, especially my friends and the faculty in the department,” Kate Burbrink said.

“Choir, because I have grown close to the people around me and have grown to love them,” Catie Miller said.

Tori Lane said, “My friends and the memories I have made over the years.”

“Definitely the faculty and staff, especially Ms. (Carol) Romine and Mr. (Stuart) Book, for always helping me when I needed them,” Cassidy Olds said.

Myself, being a senior, I am so grateful for the many friends I made this year and the faculty that have made this year phenomenal.

This senior class has many aspirations and dreams, and I am so glad to be a part of Jennings County and this amazing group. Farewell from the Class of 2019!
