Cougars top Olympians

Columbus East wrapped up its regular season Tuesday with a 311-332 loss to Bloomington North at Otter Creek.

Mark Mayhew led the Olympians with a 76. Kody Reynolds carded a 78, Adrian Adams added an 88, Leyton Erfmeier shot 90 and Cole Schaefer had a 95.

Panthers take fifth

PLAINFIELD — Jennings County finished fifth with a 330 in the North-South Invitational at Oak Tree. North Central won with a 317.

Bryce Kirchner led the Panthers with a 78. Adam Leach carded an 80, Brett Silvey added an 85, Joe Kelley shot 87 and Weston Miller had an 88.

Trinity Lutheran finished sixth with a 341. Trent Shoemaker led the Cougars with an 84, while Jacob Keith and Jacob Sabotin each shot 85, Ryland Nierman added an 87 and Josiah Foster had a 95.

Eagles down Jackets

NASHVILLE — Parker VanNess won medalist honors with a 31 to lead Brown County to a 180-203 win against Morristown at Salt Creek.

Curtis Lookebill carded a 43 for the Eagles. Cooper VanNess added a 51, Watters shot 55, Paul Kleppe had a 56, Peyton Proctor finished with a 59, Jake Huddleston shot 63 and Camden Carlisle had a 67.

Spartans stop Lancers

SHELBYVILLE — Bladen Hancock won medalist honors with a 37, but Edinburgh fell to Southwestern (Shelby) 166-210 at Cypress Run.

Jordan Myers added a 51 for the Lancers. Travis Jones shot 55, and Darius Bennett had a 67.

Titans oust Panthers

FORT BRANCH — Jennings County saw its season come to an end with a 6-1 loss at Gibson Southern in a Class 4A regional.

The Panthers fell behind 4-0 early and could not recover. They finish the season 21-9.
