• Gary Johnson for towing our stranded boat with toddlers and infant aboard back to safe harbor before a thunderstorm hit.

• my best friend for working hard to lose 64 pounds through Weight Watchers, doing Body Pump twice a week and being a shining example for her family and friends, from Mom of 2 Heelers.

• the young man who bought our lunch at Sirloin Stockade, because it was a very nice surprise, from Nancy S.

• Amy Nichter Bennett for being nominated for teacher of the year, love Dad and Mom.

• YES Cinema for showing “The Man Who Knew Too Much.”

• Ono Brothers’ fantastic job on fixing my roof on Beech Drive.

• the special counselor for saying that the president has not been exonerated.

• those who realize that inquiries or investigations need to be conducted into whether the president has committed impeachable offenses.

• MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” truthful reporting about the White House and the president.

• Jason at Overhead Door for promptly fixing our neighbors’ garage door.

Onions to …

• those that claim to be pro-life but are in fact only pro-birth and do less to help a single mother than a deadbeat dad.

• those for tearing up a school yard for a corn field, all in the name of architecture.

• gullible people that confuse agriculture with art.

• Columbus for having fewer and fewer grocery choices.

• companies that don’t return phone calls after several attempts are made to contact them.

• the traffic signal on Central Avenue at 10th Street on the left turn lane that needs a left turn arrow.

• the president’s new tariff on Mexico which only raises the cost of cars and other goods to Americans.

• the special counselor for saying if he had confidence the president didn’t commit a crime, he would have said so, thereby making a statement that doesn’t make sense because he couldn’t specify what the crime could be.

• hospital administrators for allowing doctors to move their practices to the west side of town.
