Bill and Sheri Read of Columbus are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They plan to celebrate in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and with their family at Boyne Mountain, Michigan in later this summer.
Mr. Read and the former Sheri Hodge, were married June 7, 1969 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi by the Rev. Michael Kettron.
Mr. Read is a utility engineer with the Indiana Department of Transportation and Mrs. Read is retired.
The couple have three children, Tammy Marra of Phoenix, Arizona, Jeffrey Read of Indianapolis and Alissa Olson of South Bend. They also have seven grandchildren.
