Orchids to …
• Dan and John Long for a professional and great job laying my new floors — your work is very much appreciated, from Jan E.
• the state of Illinois for passing legalized recreational marijuana for responsible adults as most American people would rather have their money support fixing roads and improving schools vs. funding dangerous criminals.
• Annette at McAllister’s Deli for jumping in to help during the struggle on Saturday evening, from those watching from the sidelines.
• Republican Rep. Justin Amash for telling his constituents what was actually in the Mueller Report.
• Ray Gibson for his letter calling out an uber-leftist for who he is, and that words matter.

• the property management business for being a slum lord and giving the great city of Columbus a bad name.
• the former president who made a even bigger fool of America by conducting a world tour to apologize to countries for the U.S. being too American.
• the group of cyclists riding two and three abreast at times on Terrace Lake Road around 6 p.m. Thursday, holding up traffic.
• police officers trying to direct traffic at East High School — let the four-way stop operate correctly instead of letting everyone go except for baseball traffic.
• those who think they know what is in the Mueller report without having ever read the redacted report.
• the able-bodied families at Saturday’s graduation taking up space in the handicap/wheelchair bound/elderly section.
• the city planners who apparently have ignored the fact that the east side no longer has a supermarket or a pharmacy.
• the disrespectful person with the air horn at the East graduation, resulting in several students and their families not getting to hear their children’s names called in recognition of their achievements.
• drivers who arrive at a four-way stop first, but wave on the next driver who arrives after them.
• North High School for allowing shouting, whistling, and air horns at the graduation ceremony, showing no respect for families wanting to hear the names of their children or grandchildren.
