COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Kathleen H. Dabrio, 66, of Columbus, passed from this life at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Kathleen was born June 27, 1952, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, the daughter of Ena Peters Antione and Beckles Grant.
Kathleen was employed by Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation as a custodian at Taylorsville Elementary School.
Kathleen loved attending church, cooking, singing, going to family gatherings and dancing.
Kathleen is survived by her son, Alexander Baptist of Columbus; siblings, Claudette (George) Douglas, Joan (Roger) Williams, Grace Dyette, Aubrey (Judy) Peters, Joan LaBoard, Debra (Arnim) Brown, and Lystra Antione all of Trinidad; niece and nephews of Columbus, Allison (Percy) Ash, Rawle (Nanda) Douglas, Nigel (Angel) Dyette, and Quincy Douglas and his finance, Samantha McClendon; several great-nieces and nephews of Columbus; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other relatives in Trinidad.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janice Smart and Jaqlyne Peters and a nephew, Ian White.
The funeral service celebrating Kathleen’s life will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Emem Akpanekong officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Kathleen will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
