Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested a local man on a domestic battery charge after responding to a report of a disturbance.
Deputies were sent to 13500 N. U.S. 31 at 12:51 a.m. Thursday about a disturbance involving a male and a female, with both showing visible injuries.
The female was treated at the scene, deputies said.
The male, identified as Michael Reynolds, 50, Edinburgh, was treated and released from Columbus Regional Hospital prior to being arrested on the domestic battery charge, deputies said.
Reynolds has since been arrested on bond, jail officials said.
