NORTH VERNON — Work will begin Monday, weather permitting, to patch and pave a 9.7 mile stretch of U.S. 50 in Jennings County.
Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc. is the contractor for the project, which will occur on U.S. 50 two miles east of State Road 3 to nine miles west of U.S. 421.
Patching will begin Monday followed by milling and paving, the Indiana Department of Transportation said.
Motorists should expect lane closures along the route, with flaggers to maintain traffic. The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
