• Franciscan Health for trying to bring a good, responsible and reliable health care option to the Bartholomew County area, from Mike.

• those helping to bring immigrants to Columbus as we need more people to fill open jobs.

• the technician at Dr. Tavel’s for fixing my only pair of good glasses so quickly on Tuesday morning, from a grateful customer.

• the two ladies at Steak ‘n’ Shake who paid my bill.

• the Petersville United Methodist Church for the delicious breakfast casserole on the last staff day and for being so willing to help us out at Clifty Creek.

• Nina Wells, for the gas so I could get the rest of my grass mowed, from Brenda.

• three kind people in Hope two weeks ago that helped the older gentleman change his flat tire on the red Ford Edge.

• the two fine gentlemen at Walmart on 10th Street and the fine lady for picking me up and giving me a transport buggy on Monday morning.

• the person who compared living, breathing horses to cars in the article about the neglected farm animals.

• the medical facility for creating a rubble dump site that continues to grow, right at the entry way to our community.

• the person writing about President Trump’s immorality, conveniently forgetting the well-known immorality of Presidents Bill Clinton and John F. Kennedy.

• Democrats obstructing justice instead of performing the duties they’re voted in to do.

• the incompetent doctor’s office staff that can’t communicate appointment cancellations to patients.

• residents who inconsiderately park RVs in such a way that roads, driveways, mailboxes and other spaces are blocked on city access streets.

• people who love pit bulls that kill other little dogs.

• those who suggest changing the flow of traffic when the better solution would be to learn how to merge.

• a pastor who has alienated much of the church membership.

• county officials who admit previous mistakes yet continue to vote for tax increases and spending increases.

• people who rant about Trump and climate change, which are flat-out lies.

• the people who won’t tell the truth about Joe Biden.
