• Columbus Department of Public Works and Columbus Parks and Recreation park operations staff for all their hard work on the skate park.

• Papaw Tom and Dad, the two men I admire the most, for everything, from, Julie.

• football fans who will support the Columbus Vanguards in their playoff game at Columbus North on Saturday night.

• Cummins for giving back and protecting our environment by holding the annual Community-Wide Recycling Day.

• Cummins and employees for having Thursday’s recycling day.

• the four county council members that are looking out for the taxpayers of Bartholomew County.

• Cummins for its Community-Wide Recycling Day.

• the city engineer for listening and acting on the road conditions on County Road 400N.

Onions to …

• the large airplane that decides to do maneuvers every Thursday night starting between 9 and 9:30 p.m.

• those for the temporary northbound on-ramp at I-65 and State Road 58 that is hazardous and potentially fatal.

• those who adopt pit bulls thinking that they are a status symbol and do not properly care for them, and then let them run loose to eventually make them wards of the humane society.

• our Founding Fathers for not placing term limits on our members of Congress.

• the police department for putting me on hold when I had a serious question or concern.

• those Republicans who are showing loyalty to President Donald Trump rather than the country.

• the Senate leader for being so cynical about issues that used to concern most conservatives.

• the appointed law enforcement who is used to having his way that he’s complaining to the community that he’s been turned down on something.

• those people that are bashing the four county council members on Facebook, because they should learn the facts.

• Republicans blocking a bill requiring campaigns to alert the FBI to foreign assistance.

• the dog walker that left the bag deposited on top of the trash in Fairlawn.

• the Senate leaders for being unfazed by Trump saying he’d hear out foreigners with information on political opponents in the 2020 elections.

• a local company that wants to close down parts of Columbus so they can have a party exclusive only to themselves.

• Democrats and news media who don’t understand there is a difference between the words “listen” and “accept.”

• those who don’t realize that the economy really started booming after President Trump reversed many of President Obama’s job-killing policies.
