EDINBURGH
John Douglas Smith was born June 6, 1964. He was the son of Bobby L. and Lucille (Fox) Smith. John was very well known for his artistic and musical talents. He worked as a dental technician for many years.
John enjoyed playing the banjo in many Bluegrass bands, as well as drawing and sculpting.
John will be greatly missed by his daughter, Hannah (Jake) Emerson, two grandchildren, Eva and Bryer, sister, Bobbie (Trace) Powell, nieces, Kelci and Baylee Powell, and great- niece, Miera Lynn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in memory of John to help cover funeral expenses.
