Southbound lane of I-65 reopens after disabled vehicle removed

Noon update: The disabled vehicle has been removed from I-65’s southbound lanes and all lanes are now open.

Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies are shutting down the right hand lane of Interstate 65 at the 61.5 mile marker in the southbound lanes due to a disabled vehicle. Media outlets were notified at 10:15 a.m.

Deputies ask that motorists be aware that delays are possible in the area. The lane will be shut down for quite some time as the disabled vehicle is removed, deputies said.
