The Ron Roberts Memorial Scholarship Fund has named Columbus native William Bridgeman the recipient of the 2019 Ron Roberts Memorial Medical Scholarship.
The grant, administered by Columbus Regional Health Foundation, is awarded to medical students who demonstrate both academic potential and financial need.
Bridgeman attended Columbus North High School and is a 2018 graduate of Hanover College where he studied biochemistry. He attends Indiana University School of Medicine with plans to graduate in 2021. Bridgeman has particular interest in the field of pediatric endocrinology, but said he is open to exploring other areas.
