Participants gather for a group photo at the Latino LEGO Robotics Camp in June at Purdue Polytechnic Institute in Columbus.

Purdue Polytechnic Institute hosted 31 students, ages 8 to 14 years old, for its annual Latino LEGO Robotics Camp in June.

The free LEGOs robotics camp allows students to be immersed in the world of robotics for three hours a day during the week-long camp at the Purdue Polytechnic Columbus campus.

Now in its third year, the camp is designed for boys and girls to engage in exploring science, technology, engineering and math concepts.

From June 24 to June 28, students could develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to build mechanical robots of their own creation.
