Martin W. Griffin of Independence, KY passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the age of 60 years.
Martin is survived by his wife of whom he married October 2018, Maria Creel Griffin. He was married to Victoria Craig Griffin of Columbus, IN , December 1981 and their children survive. They are Jessica Marie (Brian) Boyers of Independence,KY and Stephanie Griffin Nobles (Derek Nobles) of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; grandchildren, Brody, Avery, Skylar, Emery and Waylon; step-children, Seth, Matthew and Aubrey Bryson; he is also survive by brothers and sisters, John M. (Juanita) Griffin, Linda M. (the late Dave) Holt both of Villa Hills , KY , Judith E. (Gerald) Prewitt Falmouth, KY, Janet E. (Roger) Means Knoxville, TN , Robert A. (Carol) Griffin Edgewood, KY, Elizabeth A. (William) Osborn Mt. Vernon, IL, Cynthia L. (Terry) Roeder , Wilder, KY, Thomas (Cheri Wolfe) Griffin Butler , KY and the late Denise B. (Joyce) Griffin Elsmere, KY , Ronald L. Griffin and James K. (Teresa Wright Griffin Johnston)Griffin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Martin dedicated several years of his life’s work to help run the family business, Griffin Industries.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13th at Lakeside Christian Church 195 Buttermilk Pk. Lakeside Park, KY 41017. Interment Highland Cemetery.
