Seymour patients directed to Columbus Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky is merging its Seymour facility into its Columbus Health Center.

The agency described the merger as needed after a continued review of health care access to serve as many people as possible in the midst of a shifting health care landscape.

Seymour patients will be referred to the Columbus Health Center at 3200 Sycamore Court.

The Columbus center offers reproductive health care, birth control, cancer screenings, emergency contraception, LGBTQ services, testing and treatment for sexually-transmitted diseases, abortion referrals as well as sexual health information.

Planned Parenthood officials said they will offer a seamless transition and there will be no lapse in service for patients. Columbus Health Center is open Monday through Friday.
