Connie S. Bradley, 64, of Hope, Indiana passed from this life at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.
Connie was born March 29, 1955, in Columbus, Indiana, the loving daughter of James M. and Ruby Myers Bradley.
Connie was a secretary in various departments at Cummins Engine Company; she retired after 40 years of service.
Earlier in life, Connie was a member of Rural Youth. She was an awesome cheesecake maker and baker. Crazy about animals, Connie enjoyed riding horses and she enjoyed sewing.
Connie is survived by her nephews, Chris (Lesley) Bradley of Columbus and Greg (Deanna) Bradley of Columbus; great-nephews, Tyler and Nathan Prose of Columbus; a sister by another mother, Lorrie (Mike) Crouch of Hope; a dear friend, Susan Fields and Luke of Hope; another grandma, Sarah Smith of Columbus; and another father, William Smith of Kentucky.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Bradley; a brother, Marvin Bradley; and sister-in-law, Lorene Bradley.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Reverend F. Doran Chambers officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Connie will be laid to rest at the Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, American Heart Association or ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
