An interview with Bartholomew County Sheriff Matthew A. Myers appears in the Summer 2019 newsletter of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association.
Myers appears in the section, “Beside the Badge." The article details the Bartholomew County Jail’s Residents Encounter Christ program that offers inmates an opportunity to change their lives for the better. The article explains how Myers was instrumental in bringing the program to the jail and discusses how the program works.
The newsletter also describes a grant the jail recently was awarded called the RALi Grant. It provides funds aimed helping inmates after they are released.
The newsletter is sent to all Indiana sheriffs and members of the association.
