Community residents may learn more about the national opioid crisis and how it is affecting the local area, along with how the local community is responding, at an information session this month.
Dr. Kevin Terrell will lead a conversation about opioid and substance use disorders, and discuss a new local treatment option. The Columbus Regional Hospital Treatment & Support Center recently opened on the CRH campus in July.
The information session will be from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 21, at WellConnect in downtown Columbus. Terrell, DO, is medical director of the Treatment and Support Center and hospital chief of staff.
