BCT Management Inc., which manages the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington, has announced that Executive Director Danielle McClelland is resigning effective Dec. 20.
McClelland formerly worked with the Columbus Area Arts Council and served as a consultant to develop a potential business plan for The Crump for the city of Columbus several years ago.
A search committee of BCT board members and community leaders is being formed to find a replacement, which theater officials hope to announce before the end of December. McClelland said she plans to focus full-time on independent consulting in the future.
The Buskirk-Chumley Theater is in its 20th year and will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2022.
