More than the headlining band of Survivor will be turning up the heat at Saturday’s free fundraising Our Hospice of South Central Indiana rock concert at Mill Race Park in downtown Columbus.
You could do the same if you win one of four custom-made grills from Faurecia Clean Mobility volunteers. Each year, the workers create such items to be raffled to raise money for the nonprofit hospice’s work.
That involves providing assistance to people with life-limiting illness in Bartholomew and 15 other counties.
Grill raffle tickets, now available at the hospice office at 2626 E. 17th St. in Columbus, sell for $10 apiece or three for $25, according to organizers. They will be sold until about 9:15 p.m. Saturday at the concert. Also, all grills will be available at the event.
Winners need not be present to claim their prize.
This is the fifth year that employees from Faurecia, one of the world’s largest automotive equipment suppliers, have used their design, engineering and welding skills to benefit Our Hospice.
