EDINBURGH — A Columbus woman was killed in an a multi-vehicle car accident Thursday afternoon near Edinburgh.
The three-vehicle crash at U.S. 31 and Eisenhower Drive was reported to the Bartholomew County Emergency Operations Center at 4:52 p.m Thursday, according to the Bartholomew County Coroner’s office.

Wagner was the driver of a 2014 Honda Civic that collided with another car that was stopped for a red traffic light. Nolting said the cause of death was massive blunt force trauma.
Two cars were stopped at the red light and were struck from behind by Wagner who witnesses said was slumped over in her seat prior to the crash, Edinburgh police said.
A second driver was taken by Lifeline Helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and is listed in serious condition, Edinburgh police said. A third driver was checked for injuries at the scene and released.
