• President Obama for working to improve health care for all, as well as air and water quality, and for working toward treaties that made the world safer.

• the manager at Walgreens on Beam Road for the much appreciated and great customer service, from Marilyn Cheek.

• friends for the visits that leave you feeling giddy with your cheeks hurting from smiling so much.

• the man at Bob Evans for paying for our lunch.

• the nice people who jumped my car battery at Burger King Tuesday evening at 6:15 p.m., from Peggy Simpson.

• Correct Automotive in Taylorsville for repairing our truck quickly and at a great price.

• Lonnie Bryant for the wonderful, affordable roofing job and excellent price for the work, in Taylorsville.

• Tom and Diane Mitchell for all they do for their neighbors.

• the Becker family for all the treasured memories we’ve shared, from your angels, Toni, Jordan, 22 years, and Becky Potter who worked 42 years.

• Wayne Bunch for buying my lunch at Kramer’s Restaurant Wednesday.

• the town that has three flag poles, and the post office that disrespected every man and woman who has served in the military, are paramedics or firefighters, by not lowering the flags to half-mast for 9/11.

• Obama bashers.

• a Columbus area restaurant for refusing to fly the flag at half-mast on 9/11, and for asking my son to leave when he brought this to their attention.

• those who work at dividing their family rather than uniting it.

• the cranky person working the front desk at a utility office for being rude and hanging up on customers after impatiently answering questions about bills.

• the columnist who refuses to believe in eternal punishment when the Bible teaches it in many places.

• the national news organization for the article on the 9/11 commemoration that did not mention that the perpetrators were Islamic terrorists.

• those who don’t believe that vaping is bad for your health.

• the previous president for being a terrible president and not having a backbone.

• anyone who thinks religion has anything to do with Obama, because he is, was and always will be the worst president ever.

• the president for taking credit for this economy.
