Employees of Rumpke, a waste and recycling company, volunteered to picking up trash along a two-mile stretch of West County Road 550N in Columbus on Sept. 7.
They filled four large trash bags with trash and debris.
“As a local family business, we take pride in doing our part to keep Columbus clean and green,” said Matt Day, Rumpke’s safety supervisor. “We look forward to doing more clean ups like this around Columbus in the future.”

Rumpke provides service to areas of Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana, including Columbus.
