AKRON, OHIO
Jerome V. Harrison, 73 of Akron, Ohio, passed away September 15, 2019.
He was born August 2, 1946 at Greensburg Hospital, the son of Fred and Marion (Preuss) Harrison.
A graduate of St. Placid of St. Meinrad, He graduated from Vincennes College with a degree in Horticulture. He enlisted in the army and served for 14 years.
He is survived by his mother, Marion Harrison of Columbus, Indiana; sister, Merri Jo (David) Sims of Columbus, Indiana; daughter Elizabeth Harrison and granddaughters Lydia and Haley Harrison of Akron, Ohio; son Matthew ‘Maha’ Harrison, his wife Alexandria and grandchildren, Lila and Liam Harrison of Bloomington, Minnesota. He is also survived by his nieces, Ashley (Pat) McDermott, and Andrea Lucas (Steven) and her daughter Carli.
His father passed away in January 1991. His brother Timothy Harrison passed away March 11, 2018.
We had a small catholic service at Adams Mason Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio on Wednesday, September 18. He is being buried and honored at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio later this month for his dedication and service to his country.
