• the Rev. Tim Streeval for an awesome service on Sunday night.

• the wonderful teachers at Smith Elementary for continuing to do what’s best for students despite being scrutinized.

• President Obama for demonstrating class.

• the nice gentleman who paid for my lunch at Captain D’s.

• the kind man who helped start the car at Kohl’s.

• the person responsible for paying for the family’s dinner at 450N Brewing Co. on Saturday evening, because it was appreciated.

• the Tyner family — Troy, Tasha, Tristan, Tyson — for helping us prepare for guests by mowing, trimming and beautifying our property from Jim and Bev Tibbetts.

Onions to …

• drivers who are in a huge hurry to get nowhere, speeding and tailgating like it is going to make anyone in front of them go any faster.

• the business that has lost many employees in just one year, and the owner who still won’t accept the blame.

• those for the “artwork” in downtown Columbus that ruined the tour because it looked trashy compared to the beautiful flowers and the rest of downtown Columbus.
