North stays unbeaten

INDIANAPOLIS — Third-ranked Columbus North completed an undefeated regular season Monday with a 5-0 win at Roncalli.

This marked the first time the Bull Dogs (15-0) went undefeated and won the Conference Indiana championship.

North’s Nathan Lin blanked Tyler Schofield, and Bhavey Jain beat Sam Limaco at No. 2 singles, both by 6-0, 6-0 scored. Matthew Liu and Joey Zhao also won 6-0, 6-0 against Sam Langston and Kallu, Cougill at No. 1 doubles.

The Bull Dogs’ Adam Saad downed Ty Ransburg 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Eamon Ma and Will King topped Liam Moore and Jerome Wormann 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.

East downs Panthers

BLOOMINGTON — Chris Quisenberry scored three goals to lead Class 3A No. 5 Columbus East to a 3-1 win at Bloomington South.

Logan Cline had two assists, and Leyton Erfmeier added one assist for the Olympians (11-0-3).

East outshot the Panthers 18-9, putting 10 shots on goal to eight for Bloomington South. Zach Roberts recorded seven saves.

Jets tame Wildcats

HOPE — Daniel Taylor netted two goals to lead Hauser to a 4-0 win against Franklin County.

Diego Vasquez and Franco Avila each scored a goal for the Jets (9-4). Vasquez, Caetano Fracasso, Alex Lopez and Cameron Scott all had an assist.

Caleb Walker and Carter Scott each posted two saves in goal.

Crusaders get first win

INDIANAPOLIS — C.J. Reed scored three goals to lead Columbus Christian to a 3-1 win against the Indy Warriors.

Sam Flint had an assist for the Crusaders (1-5-1). Garrett Spurgeon recorded eight saves.

Panthers edge Warriors

SCOTTSBURG — Jennings County rallied from a 2-0 second half before scoring three goals in the final 18 minutes to pull out a a 3-2 win at Scottsburg.

Morgan Lane netted two goals, and Katie Pappenheim added a goal and an assist for the Panthers (10-6). Kayla Pappenheim and Kenna Maschino also had assists.

Jennings outshot the Warriors 11-9. Tori Lee recorded seven saves.

Cougars blank Rebels

SEYMOUR — Emma Myers and Kailene Cockerham each scored two goals to lead Trinity Lutheran to a 6-0 win against Southwestern (Hanover).

Flossie Cooper and Sarah Lemming each added a goal and an assist for the Cougars (7-4), who outshot the Rebels 22-2. Samantha Enzinger recorded two saves.

Cougars top Eagles

GREENSBURG — After splitting the first two sets, South Decatur won the final two to claim a 21-15, 10-25, 25-16, 25-15 win against Jac-Cen-Del.

Brook Somers led the Cougars (3-21) with 10 kills and 15 digs. Whitnye Burton recorded 17 assists, and Lily Rigby served seven aces.

Also for South Decatur, Loryn Pate pounded nine kills, and Lana Bell added seven kills and 12 digs. Ali Jameson tallied nine assists, Ribgy had six assists, Kalie Fry notched nine digs and Somers served three aces.

Lancers fall in four

EDINBURGH — Edinburgh won the second set, but Waldron recovered to claim a 25-19, 16-25, 25-22, 25-23 victory.

The Lancers fell to 6-18 overall and 2-2 in the Mid-Hoosier Conference.
