• the city administration that has done so much to make Columbus a better place to live over the last few years.

• Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for her careful collection of the facts concerning violations of federal law and the U.S. Constitution.

• Sue Coyle, are a super kind person, for the enormous favor she did for me yesterday, from Doug Southern.

• Mill Race Center staff who gave such a wonderful reception for Peggy Wampler as she was chosen for the Senior Citizen of the Year award.

• everyone that sent me beautiful cards and congratulations for being the Senior Citizen of the Year award winner, because they were appreciated, from Peggy Wampler.

• the panel of former Republic Women of the Year who gave such an engaging presentation at the library Tuesday night.

• the Cummins volunteers and United Way workers who did my yard work and did a marvelous job, from Alice Weddle.

Onions to …

• states that don’t obey or enforce federal laws.

• the road crew working on northbound U.S. 31 that has closed off one lane for nearly 4 miles when, in fact, they’re working on only a few hundred feet of the right lane.

• library patrons who park on residential streets taking the place of handicapped residents.

• people who let their cats roam in other people’s yards, killing birds and ruining plants.

• whoever decided to have the marathon on the same weekend as Hope Heritage Days.

• low information voters who have been brainwashed by fake news.

• people who think Obama was good for president or anything else.

• the town employee that doesn’t pick up trash along the streets.

• Republicans complaining about Democrats doing the same thing they do.

• everybody that doesn’t want to give President Obama credit after all he did for this country.
