Columbus native and actress/singer Mary Claire King has returned to Broadway — and is the understudy for her first leading role. She plays Velma Kelly in the musical "Chicago" at New York City’s Ambassador Theatre. She recently made her debut as Kelly, with family, several friends and Columbus arts supporters on hand. She previously performed in "My Fair Lady" and "War Paint."
