• the lady we met at San Souci who gave us wrestling tickets, from the little wrestling fans and their mom.

• the Mill Race squirrels for the wonderful lunchtime entertainment.

• the skin cancer doctor of a very busy practice in Greenwood, who has such a concern for his patients, he personally calls each one the evening following a procedure to verify they are doing well — a good example of a caring professional.

• Officer Gillum for his time and great help with the fence and salute to a fellow veteran.

• the ladies at Ulta Beauty in Columbus who were so kind to the lady who locked herself out of her car, from Nancy.

• and God bless the person on Wednesday who turned in my purse to the lost and found at the 10th Street Walmart — you are a very special person.

• Tom and Merry Carmichael, for their kindness, from Sharon Larson.

• all readers who believe that Doug Otto’s letter does not describe our struggling and abandoned President Donald Trump.

Onions to …

• the 2019 version of the senator from South Carolina.

• drivers who didn’t use headlights in Thursday morning’s foggy conditions.

• the county highway department who chip sealed our road but didn’t bother to roll it or sweep it, we are now entering our second week of flying rocks and dust.

• anyone who thinks Democrats represent conservative values.

• the politician who impulsively gave Turkey the green light to attack an ally who had bravely fought side-by-side with American soldiers to defeat ISIS.

• the local post office for just letting the phone ring and never answering it, how frustrating when people are trying to call you.

• the walkers and runners on Tipton Lakes Boulevard on a horribly foggy morning — when I’m more worried about looking for deer, and now have to look out for you too — seriously? Stay home or go to a gym.
