This letter is to encourage voters to support Josh Burnett for Columbus City Council at-large. Having grown up in Columbus, Josh has shown a true commitment, not only for his family but to the values and progress of our community.
He has readily assisted community initiatives to make Columbus a better place to live, work and play. Through his “Celebrate Columbus” show, Josh has connected people to local causes, helping raise over $100,000 to support efforts that include mental health and addiction issues. These efforts are among the reason he was recognized as the Columbus Young Professionals Next Gen Leader of the Year. Through his experience with Leadership Bartholomew County and the Public Safety Academy, Josh has focused on listening and learning to find the best solutions possible for our residents. He believes in the power of partnership to tackle our toughest challenges. That is why his campaign message is “Positive. Progress. Together.” His dedication to those undertakings illustrate his responsible commitment to the possibilities of making a positive impact on a larger scale with firsthand knowledge of being fiscally responsible while meeting the needs of our community.
