WESTPORT
Shane Michael England, 42, of Westport, passed away at 1:27 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born on May 12, 1977 in Greensburg, the son of Curtis Allen England and Sandra Kay (Eden) Arens.
He was a resident of Westport the majority of his life and attended South Decatur High School. He was the former owner/operator at Horizon Freight Lines. He attended Waynesburg Christian Church. Shane enjoyed hockey, playing guitar & drums, woodworking, driving, and collecting.
He married Gretchen Camille Lunsford on July 2, 2004 in Greensburg and she survives. Other survivors include his father, Curtis (Sylvia) England of Westport; his mother, Sandra Kay (Vaughn) Arens of Greenwood; his daughters, Kelsie Caudill of Westport, Brianna England of Greensburg and Katelyn Caudill of Westport; his son, Briar England of Westport; his sister, Wendy England of Westport; his brother, Scott (Carrie) England of Lebanon; his grandson, Xander Shane Edwards.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25. 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. David Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
