Three hundred and forty area residents dressed up like zombies and, among other things, danced to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” at Columbus East High School’s football field at the Thrill the World contest to raise money for Childhood Connections.

Terry and Susan Whittaker, owners of Viewpoint Books on Washington Street, were given the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award in recognition of their entrepreneurial success and community involvement.
