A collection of 120 Nativity scenes, figurines and related material will be part of an auction at 9 a.m. Saturday at YES Cinema, 328 Jackson St. in downtown Columbus. The fundraiser supports the work of the nonprofit Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center. Doors open at 8 a.m. for a preview of the items.
Wetzel-Turner Auctioneers will conduct the sale of items that recently were gifted to the center from Columbus residents John and Carolyn Seltzer. Creches include those made of clay, wood, fabric, and a variety of other materials, according to organizers. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted as payment. Phone bids also will be accepted.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
