The Columbus Police Department in collaboration with Dorel Juvenile will host a child car seat safety check from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday.
The event will be in the police department’s parking lot, 123 Washington St. The public is encouraged to stop by and have their child’s car safety seat checked by certified car seat technicians from Dorel Juvenile at no charge.
The check and installation of a car seat will take approximately 20 minutes.
“This is the second and final safety seat check of the year,” said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman. “We are excited to once again partner with Dorel Juvenile to help keep children and their families safe."
