Julie I. Swaney, 44, of Seymour, passed away Sunday at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. She was born October 25, 1975 in Columbus.
Funeral services will be held on Friday November 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Ross officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Julie I. Swaney memorial fund through the funeral home.
Julie married David E. Swaney November 8, 1998 and he survives. Julie is also survived by her daughter, Mandy Dowden, of Seymour; her father, Donald Dowden, of Brown County and her brothers, Carl (Jody) Dowden, Larry (Anna) Dowden and Darby Dowden, all of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her mother, Delma Western Olds.
