Lancers stay unbeaten

SHELBYVILLE — Class A Edinburgh improved to 3-0 with a 54-38 win Friday at 4A Shelbyville.

The Golden Bears led 18-14 after one quarter, but the Lancers outscored Shelbyville by 20 points over the final three quarters.

Destiney Ramey and Haven Link each scored 14 points to lead Edinburgh.

Cougars stop Shiners

GREENSBURG — South Decatur picked up its first win of the season Friday, a 44-36 victory against Rising Sun.

Brook Somers led the Cougars (1-3) with 14 points. Loryn Pate scored 12, and Lana Bell added 10.

Eagles down Cougars

NASHVILLE — Brown County trailed 28-25 at halftime before rallying for a 48-40 win against Bloomington North.

Gracie Matlock led the Eagles (2-0) with 11 points. Abby Fleetwood added nine.

Warriors top Panthers

SCOTTSBURG — Jennings County led 14-13 after one quarter Thursday, but Scottsburg went on to post a 58-49 victory.

Addyson Kent led the Panthers (1-2) with 17 points. Kali Thompson scored 15, and Lily Ernstes added 11.
