COLUMBUS — Knoll Inc., a furniture manufacture in Pennsylvania, presented a custom red Knoll Eero Saarinen chair to Cummins on Wednesday as part of the firm’s centennial celebration and to mark the long relationship between the two companies.

Cummins, in turn, presented the chair to the locally-based J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program during an event Wednesday at The Republic Building in downtown Columbus.

The presentation was part of a free event in which Michael Keck of Knoll Inc. spoke about Knoll design.
