Let’s agree on one thing straight right here: Comic Mike Armstrong has played so many New Year’s Eve shows at Columbus’ YES Cinema downtown — nearly half a dozen just in the past few years — that he’s seemingly getting a kind Dick Clark aura about him. The standup performer based in Louisville, Ky., will do shows at 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 at the facility at 328 Jackson St. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. But Armstrong normally sells out.
