• people across the country, including those in Columbus, who rallied Monday night in favor of impeachment.

• the fine doctors, nurses and support staff of the ER, the ICU and the cancer treatment center for the wonderful care I received last weekend, from a grateful Mr. Fred H.

• Dr. Dale Guse for being such an awesome doctor — thanks for always treating your patients like you would your own family.

• Hope Community Center staff for all that you do to help the town residents and children, you are truly appreciated!

• Rachel and Grace Merritt for the great Christmas present, from Sande.

• Christianity Today editor Mark Galli for stating that Trump’s action not only violated the Constitution, but “more importantly, it (was) profoundly immoral.”

• Russian President Vladamir Putin for sticking up for the American president.

• Fisher’s Flower Basket for the Christmas gift on Friday, from Greg.

• the young couple who made the waitress’s day at Lincoln Square Restaurant twice.

• President Putin for continuing to stand by and support our president.

• Trump and Barr upholding the 1998 U.S. and Ukraine treaty 106-16 on mutual legal assistance and criminal matters, especially Article 2.

• Montana Mike’s employees for the wonderful care and service they provide for Tammy.

• Marjorie Turner, for the beautiful Christmas card and pocket calendar, Linda.

• Congressman Greg Pence for passing a much-needed K9 Hero bill.

• all the Democrats who are waking up and switching to the Republican party.

• Republicans: Take heart — the truth will set you free.

• Mark Galli for his excellent spot-on editorial in Christianity Today from Mike Clancy.

• any presidential candidate who can explain how they will provide America with a better economy or climate than President Trump.

Onions to …

• school board that did not award earned stipends for the 2018-19 school year to teachers who retired in June even though they worked the whole year.

• the school board that gives a large raise to administrators earning nearly $200,000 a year while a large group of teachers got a 0% raise — and then expects support on referendum raising taxes.

• overlooking the fact that all of this foreign government interference in our elections started with the Obama administration spying on Trump.

• BCSC: Big Corporation Spending Carelessly.

• those that abandon their god to worship Trump.

• an auto dealer that advertises its Christianity, then treats customers like dirt — as if they don’t know the meaning of Christmas.

• the judge that give custody to drug-addicted mothers who clearly have many problems, taking children away from other guardians who’ve raised them their entire lives.

• ever voting Republican again, and I’m a Republican — but that fact will soon be changed.

• the system that continuously releases drug addicts out on their on cognizance and holds other people on alcohol-related offenses.
