COLUMBUS
Randall D. Purtlebaugh, 64, of Columbus passed from this life on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 5:03 p.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born on October 2, 1955 in Columbus the son of Donald L. and Mary Roseanna Swango Purtlebaugh.
Mr. Purtlebaugh was a United States Marine Corps veteran and retired from Arvin Meritor/Faurecia where he was a pull pac operator. He enjoyed going to the casino, antiquing, and making stained glass.
Survivors include his sons, Brian L. (Carrie Hurst) Purtlebaugh of Greenwood and Michael (Nancy) Purtlebaugh of Franklin; grandchildren, Alexis Purtlebaugh, Grace Purtlebaugh, Zachary Zimmerman, Logan Zimmerman, Tristan Purtlebaugh, and Kai Purtlebaugh; siblings, Donna (Billy) Robbins, Darlene (Terry) Garrity, J.R. (Tasha) Purtlebaugh, and Allen (Tina) Purtlebaugh; several nieces and nephews; and mother of Mike and Brian, Rosemary Purtlebaugh of Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elizabeth Young; and infant brother, Baby Eddie.
In keeping with Mr. Purtlebaugh’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
