Ilene Lawson, 77, of Columbus Died January 12, 2020 at her home.
She was born February 15, 1942 in Perry County, Kentucky, the daughter of Garrett and Marie White.
She married Bobby Lawson on April 15, 1959. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2008.
Ilene retired from Sap’s/ Dolly Madison Bakery of Columbus. She attended Come As You Are Ministries and Church of the New Covenant.
Survivors include sons, Ray (Tammy), Ed (Missy), Tim (Melinda), Randy (Trish), Garrett (Julie), Fred (Angela) Lawson; daughter, Leona (Rick) Trobaugh; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Harold and Junior White; sisters, Barbara Dean and Sue Noble.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby; sisters, Irene Pace, Muriel Lewis; brother Arnold White.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18th at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street, Columbus. Visitation will be held Friday, January 17th, from 5~9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
