St. Bartholomew celebrates special week

St. Bartholomew will celebrate National Catholic Schools Week with a community service day and an open house. The events are part of the nationwide celebration of Catholic education during the week of Jan. 26 through Feb. 1.

The week’s theme — “Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.” — highlights the schools’ focus on faith development, academic excellence and dedication to community service. On Jan. 28, students will spend the day working on service projects throughout the community. Kindergarten through eighth-graders will volunteer at the local non-profits or will work on service projects to benefit the community.

St. Bartholomew will have an open house from noon to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 26. Students will conduct tours and staff will be on hand to accept applications for next year.
