North wins quad match
INDIANAPOLIS — Emily Moore won three individual events and the all-around competition Tuesday to lead co-No. 5-ranked Columbus North to a quad meet win at Roncalli.
The Bull Dogs finished with a 109.325 team total. Roncalli finished second with 98.6 followed by a combined team from Decatur Central and Indianapolis Lutheran (85.05) and a one-person Lapel squad (35.85).

Moore won the bars (9.4), beam (9.6) and floor (9.625) and took second on the vault (9.2) in claiming the all-around with a 37.825. Sami Heathcote took second on the bars (9.025) and floor (8.85) and third on the vault (9.15) and beam (9.45) in placing second in the all-around with a 36.475.
Also for North, Alayne Davis finished third on the floor (8.8), fourth on the vault (9.05) and sixth on the bars (8.125) in tying for fourth in the all-around (34.3). Lindsey Mullis took third on the bars (8.725) and fifth on the beam (8.45), Grace Ellis tied for fifth on the floor (8.4) and tied for sixth on the vault (8.7) and Madi Edwards tied for fifth on the floor (8.4) and sixth on the vault (8.7) and finished sixth in the all-around 32.775.

East diver takes 12th
BLOOMINGTON — Columbus East junior Cloie McDonald finished 12th in the Bloomington South Diving Regional, missing by four spots of qualifying for the state meet.
McDonald scored a 298.35. Bloomington South’s Caitlin Liechti-Hawkins, who edged McDonald for the title at Saturday’s Columbus North Sectional, claimed the eighth and final state qualifying spot at 345.70.
McDonald was in 10th place after the first five dives, making the cut to the top 16. She moved up to ninth after eight dives, making the cut to the final 12, and remained there until missing on her final dive.

Cougars tame Tigers
CROTHERSVILLE — Class 2A No. 4 South Decatur ran out to a 47-30 halftime lead and went on to post a 93-64 win at Crothersville.
Hunter Johnson poured in 35 points to lead the Cougars (18-1). Dominic Walters and Lane Lauderbaugh each scored 16, and Tyler Sporleder added 15.
