LETTS, INDIANA
Wilbur Hauser, III, 61, of Letts, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born on February 4, 1959, in Lawrenceburg, the son of Lester & Freida Marie (Dell) Powers.
Wilbur was a 1978 graduate of South Decatur High School and had resided in Letts the majority of his life. He was employed at Delta Faucet for 31 years and retired from Faurcia in Columbus in 2019 after 10 years of service. He enjoyed watching sports.
He is survived by his son, Chris Hauser of Greensburg; stepson, Joshua Jones of Greensburg; stepdaughter, Jennifer Shafer of Columbus; sister, Vicky Hayes of Greensburg; brother, Thomas (Dawn) Powers of Letts and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Wilbur & Effie Hauser.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Janet Hodson officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Sinai Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
