Wildey picks up 200th win; Cougars tie school record

Wildey wins No. 200

GREENSBURG — Kendall Wildey won his 200th career game as a coach, and South Decatur tied a school record with its 21st win Friday night, a 109-47 rout of Knightstown to close the regular season.

The Cougars (21-2) ran out to a 58-22 halftime lead and cruised from there. They tied the 1990-91 team for most wins in a season.

Hunter Johnson and Lane Lauderbaugh each scored 32 points to lead South Decatur. Dominic Walters and Brogan Howard each added 10.

Cubs top Panthers in OT

FRANKLIN — Jennings County wrapped up the regular season Friday with a 71-66 overtime loss at Franklin.

Jacob Vogel led the Panthers (12-11) with 20 points and eight rebounds. Keegan Manowitz added 14 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and two steals and Carson McNulty had 11 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Crusaders fall in semis

LaPORTE — Columbus Christian cut a 10-point deficit to two midway through the fourth quarter Friday night, but Heritage Christian (Dyer) held on for a 49-43 win in the semifinals of the ICSAA state tournament.

Kayla Jones led the Crusaders (22-5) with 18 points, 10 rebounds and six steals. Kaitlyn Conrad added eight points, and Kinidy Morgan had seven.
