Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested a local woman after a vehicle pursuit.

The pursuit began at 6:58 a.m. Wednesday when Deputy Brandon Sellers observed a possible stolen vehicle near the intersection of West Johnathon Moore Pike and North County Road 325W.

Sellers attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle later stopped near the intersection of West Old Nashville Road and Dam Road, deputies said. Columbus Police Department assisted the sheriff department during the pursuit.

Catina Caudill, 29, of 11085 W. Georgetown Road, was arrested and taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and driving while suspended with a prior conviction.

She was being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $12,500 bond, jail officials said.
